University membership was established in February 2006 in an effort to bring together the top engineering universities to share, create, and implement high quality, experientially focused short-term international programs for U.S. science and engineering universities.

IAESTE United States serves as the umbrella organization and program administrator; universities who have met the requirements are eligible to join as institutional members of IAESTE United States. University membership with IAESTE United States will run on an annual basis from August 1 – June 30.
