In the spring a young LC member's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of IAESTE retreats. The time is right: the national conference is long gone, summer reception is still a few months off, and you need an IAESTE fix. • Social: allows all of the LCs in the region to get together for a relaxing and fun event.
  • Information sharing: the spring retreat is a unique forum for all of the LCs to get together and share best practices and brainstorm about common challenges.
  • Regional reception planning: as this event is held before summer reception activities, LCs should beginning planning for their regional summer GetToGether.

Regional reps are responsible for planning and hosting the spring retreats, but don't despair: the national office is here to help. With this handy-dandy spring retreat planning guide, you'll have your event planned in two shakes of a lamb's tail. After the dust has cleared, regional reps need to make sure to complete the spring retreat report.
