JUMP (Join Us to Motivate People!) is an international LC conference that takes place every fall in Europe. JUMP brings together LC members from around the world to discuss job-raising, reception and the successes and challenges of being an IAESTE LC member

Overview:

IAESTE United States will be issuing two $1000 travel grants to facilitate attendance at the 2008 JUMP Seminar. These grants may be applied towards transportation costs only. Registration fees, lodging (if not covered by the registration fee) and incidentals must be covered by students. The grants will be issued as reimbursements after the JUMP Seminar, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Please consult the IAESTE United States Policies for complete details regarding JUMP Ambassador Travel Grants and reimbursement.

Keep in mind that anyone who can raise his/her own funding is welcome to attend JUMP. This conference is open to anyone who's involved with an LC in any capacity - you don't have to be sponsored by us. The national office would be happy to write a letter of support explaining the purpose and benefits of this event to aid anyone seeking funding from other sources. The more, the merrier!

Lee Pearson's Testimonial

Read what this past IAESTE United States LC member had to say about his JUMP experience:

“There are many ways to describe JUMP: increíble, incroyable, ongelofelijk, unglaublich, utrolig. World around, JUMP was incredible.  I had never been to Europe before this conference and now after, in some ways, I have been all over Europe. The IAESTE JUMP conference brought together students from Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, Malta, Spain, and Turkey, as well as students from the USA and Ecuador. The world became quite a bit smaller for the week and we learned all about each other's experiences back home and cultural traditions and food. While this experience alone would have been incredible, the touring around the northern coast of Denmark and the actual intent of the conference was beneficial as well. From workshops on company calling, to LC management, to marketing, the JUMP conference really made the IAESTE experience come to life. I highly recommend JUMP for anyone with the opportunity to go. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity, with an experience that will last a lifetime. Keep on JUMP-ing!”
