 There are two types of members in IAESTE United States: At-Large Members and Local Committee (LC) Members. If there is an LC at your school, you can become a Local Committee Member. If their isn't, join us through an At-Large Membership. Read on to learn more!
At-Large Membership
Science and technical students attending accredited four-year U.S. universities and colleges are eligible to become IAESTE United States members. There are numerous tangible and intangible benefits to being an IAESTE United States student member. Some of the most prominent benefits include:

Local Committee Membership
IAESTE United States has Local Committees (LCs) on more than 25 campuses across the country. LCs promote the benefits of international exchange. Student LC members receive additional benefits:
- IAESTE United States internship scholarships – a members-only exclusive.
- Discounts on international internship participation.
- Membership card and IAESTE United States t-shirt .
- Access to the Members-only Web site, which includes the IAESTE Career Center, as well as many other informative resources.
- Free subscription to our magazine, The Compass.
