This list is provided by the USC Center for Global Education. The USC Center for Global Education promotes international education to foster cross-cultural awareness, cooperation and understanding. The center promotes global learning by doing the following:

Create new and enhance existing study abroad programs;

Integrate an international and intercultural perspective into the US educational system;

Provide information to better prepare students and other travelers for their experience abroad; and

Encourage research in the field of international education.

Travel Information and Advisories

Bureau of Consular Affairs, U.S. Department of State
The Bureau of Consular Affairs provides travel announcements and warnings for countries and regions around the world, along with a range of services to Americans living and traveling overseas.

The Bureau of Consular Affairs can also be reached at: 317-472-2328, 8 am through 8 pm, Monday through Friday, and 202-647-5225 after hours, weekends and holidays.

British Foreign & Commonwealth Office
The British FCO provides travel tips, specific country advice, and many of the same types of services to British subjects that the State Department Bureau of Consular Affairs provides to US citizens.

The CDC provides information on health conditions, required inoculations, and other valuable information for students and other travelers.

International Association for Medical Assistance to Travelers
IAMAT is a non-profit organization established in 1960. Its aim is to advise travelers about health risks, the geographical distribution of diseases worldwide, immunization requirements for all countries, and to make competent medical care available to travelers by western-trained doctors who speak English besides their mother tongue.
