A Message From IAESTE United States:

As an organization that has placed thousands of students abroad since 1950, we want to emphasize that the safety and security of our students has always been our top priority. Recent political events including increased terrorism have created unsettled times for everyone around the world. We understand that these events have raised the level of anxiety of our participants overseas and many who plan to work abroad with IAESTE.

Although we cannot anticipate the course of world or local events, and cannot guarantee safety to our participants abroad or in the United States, we are committed to constantly monitoring the ever-changing conditions in all of our member countries, and have taken additional steps to increase our preparedness. In addition, we will make decisions in the best interest of program participants by assessing the country specific information and applying continually updated contingency plans as needed. We will provide applicants with relevant, country-specific information that will allow students to make informed decisions about how to respond to the current situation.
