Local Committees need the support of people like you. Below are some of the ways you can support the Local Committee in your area.

• Speak at an LC meeting or conference: topics may include a discussion on the need for international skills in your field, your IAESTE experience, advice for graduating seniors, or any other topics you feel comfortable discussing.
• Host an LC event: this could include a tour of your workplace, barbecue, or networking happy hour. Each event allows the LC to increase its presence on and off campus and provides you with another opportunity to meet international interns in your area.
• Become a host employer: each LC is responsible for raising a number of jobs in their area. If your company or organization is interested in taking an international intern, that decision can have a direct impact on the LC in your area. LCs provide support for interns in their area, including meeting them at the airport, locating housing, and organizing social events.
