• IAESTE membership: You must be a member of IAESTE United States. Click here to become one.
• Enrollment: you must be currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program at an accredited, four-year U.S. college or university at the time of application. International students studying in the U.S. are welcome to apply to the Placement Program; U.S. students studying abroad through a U.S. institution are eligible as long as you are still considered to be enrolled in the U.S. university. We cannot accept students who graduated this past spring or summer.
• Standing: you must have attained junior-level standing or above by the time you begin your internship. Sophmores and graduating seniors may also apply.
• Major: you must be enrolled in a technical field of study (i.e. engineering, computer science, architecture, natural and physical sciences, or agricultural sciences).
• Age: you must be between the ages of 19 and 30.
• Language: you must be fluent in English. Foreign language skill requirements vary by position. While most positions only require English, foreign language skills are preferred.
