Spring retreats are weekend getaways, usually to a beautiful outdoor location in the center of each region, to discuss summer reception, to work on team building, and to have some good old IAESTE fun.

Each regional representative plans the Spring Retreat, including arranging the schedule and all logistics. The location and date are selected at the Regional Roundups at the National Conference every year. Past locations have included Lake Tahoe and the mountains of Virginia. Days are filled with best practices and canoe races, among other things. Spring retreats are a great way to build regional camaraderie while reinforcing a strong membership base.
