JUMP is a training and motivational seminar designed to share IAESTE knowledge, to broaden the IAESTE network, to motivate IAESTE members, and to make friends from around the world. JUMP started in 1995 in Austria and is hosted every year by a different IAESTE country.
JUMP is an excellent way for experienced Local Committee (LC) members to take their IAESTE knowledge to the next level. Likewise, attending JUMP is an opportunity to mentor new LCs or new IAESTE countries and, of course, to meet new people!
In 2007, JUMP was be hosted in Instanbul, Turkey.
A typical JUMP conference involves students working in groups with other IAESTE members from around the world, sightseeing, and attending relevant lectures or site visits. A few examples of the work group topics are:
- marketing to students,
- marketing to companies,
- reception, and
- LC management.
